Hello and welcome.  My name is Sandra and

I'm a middle school art teacher and artist who enjoys working in a variety of media. 

 

I live by the words of artist, Marc Chagall, "I work in whatever medium likes me at the moment."

 

I love nature, beauty and whimsy.  I'm particularly inspired by flowers, insects, animals, clouds, bodies of water and landscapes.  I create drawings and paintings in watercolors, oils, and mixed media.  I'm a collector and often use found objects or ephemera in my artwork.

 

I also create jewelry (beads, gemstones, paper origami or metal).
