I recently led a Paint Party! I decided on an image of owls since it was for my school - Burrowing Owls (Athene cunicularia). These owls are on the threatened list in Oklahoma.

It's fascinating that the Burrowing owls can rattle/hiss like a rattlesnake as a ploy to protect themselves from predators.

The Paint Party! I enjoyed having all those kids. Grandmothers, mothers and little ones created art and fun memories together.

I had to repeat my design on a mini 5 x7 canvas too. :)
