Ahoy! O Joy! I've found some nice 'sea glass' pieces while swimming at Lake Lawtonka
just over the hill. I thought the triangular shape would make a great sail, which is secured to the stick and driftwood with sterling silver wire and complete with a sterling anchor!

Did you know that touching a sailor's uniform collar brings good luck?

“Not all storms come to disrupt your life, some come to clear your path.”
I attached a sterling sailboat to the tiny grayish glass backdrop which actually has
the appearance of a storm. It reminds me of how small I am and how great God is
and how he brings peace to my storms.

I always thought this shell which I found on a S. Cali beach looks like a hip bone. I attached sterling silver praying hands and call it 'Tefilah" - which means prayer in Hebrew. This art piece is a symbol of the highest level of prayer - to want nothing but the feeling of attachment to God. Tefilah is how my soul yearns to be "attached, joined or bound together" to the one who can make me whole.
