Draw Yourself as a Tree

I recently led a fun therapeutic art activity during a community wellness event. We drew/painted ourselves as trees to include describing our strengths along the roots. And then focused on new skills, good habits, and things we desire by adding them to the leaves/fruits/flowers of the tree. Here are some journal results ranging from children to older adults.





And this is my tree. I encouraged everyone to display their trees so they can be reminded of their strengths and the areas that they will grow into.
